    SQQ10 ICT: Neuer Standard für Qualität und Professionalität in der Veranstaltungswirtschaft

    Ab Februar 2025 bietet die b-trend.academy in Berlin den neuen Lehrgang „Sachkunde für Informations- und Kommunikationstechnik Level 1“ (ICT Level 1) an. Der Lehrgang basiert auf dem am 28. Juni 2024 in Kraft getretenen Qualitätsstandard SQQ10 der IGVW. Zum ersten Mal definiert ein Branchenstandard die notwendigen Kompetenzen für die Installation, Wartung und den Betrieb von Informations- und Kommunikationssystemen in der Medien- und Veranstaltungstechnik.

This dynamic, bidirectional exchange is giving rise to new business models, cultural innovations, and exciting collaborations. In this high-profile panel, leading voices from both regions will share their insights, experiences, and visions for the future. The discussion will focus on successful festival market entry strategies, cultural adaptation, and the development of sustainable, cross-border business models.

    Masterclass: Crowdfunding

    Die interaktive Masterclass beleuchtet die vielfältigen Möglichkeiten des Crowdfundings eines gemeinnützigen Anti-Rassismus-Metal-Festivals. Zentral sind eine vorangegangene Publikumsbefragung, aus der eine wissenschaftlich begleitete Drei-Säulen-Finanzierung entstand: ein Crowdfunding-Ansatz, ein Festival-Sponsoring und das innovative Pay-What-You- Want-Modell (PWYW). Die Publikumsbefragung vor dem Festival war der Schlüssel zur Bedarfserfassung und lotete die Optionen bereits im Vorfeld aus. Prof. Dr. Matthias Johannes Bauer ist volontierter Journalist, promovierter Germanistik und Wirtschaftswissenschaftler. Seit April 2018 leitet er den Masterstudiengang Kommunikationsmanagement an der IST- Hochschule für Management in Düsseldorf. Dort etabliert er seither in einem inzwischen dreiköpfigen Team den Lehr- und Forschungsschwerpunkt Festivalmanagement. Er ist u.a. Autor des Buchs „Festivalmanagement“ und Herausgeber der wissenschaftlichen Buchreihe „Studien zum Festivalmanagement“.

    A lot has happened since the pandemic, including a lot of good things. During this time, the network of YOUROPE, the European Festival Association, has developed a whole range of high-quality tools, roadmaps and reports with the help of European funding, experts and festivals from all over Europe, which are freely available to everyone. Today, the YOUROPE team gives an insight into toolsets for more diversity, equity & inclusion, for social innovation and for supporting Ukraine, the European Green Festival Roadmap 2030 as well as the Future Festival Tools self-assessment and e-learning course.
